Experience

  • As the Senior Designer at Go-To Skincare for over four years, I’ve partnered closely with the Creative Lead and wider team to deliver thoughtful, strategy-led creative across the brand.

In this role, I have contributed to the development of integrated product campaigns from concept through to execution, spanning art direction, digital, print, and social social. Through close collaborations, I have continued to strengthen my strategic thinking while helping bring creative ideas to life in a way that supports broader brand and business objectives.

Key campagins: Go-To Makeup Launch, SPF Range, Boxing Day Sales (Annually), Retinal Campaigns (x2), Clarifying Face Hero Launch, Oil Over, Juicy Gel, Evergreen Imagery (product + models)

  • I had the opportunity to freelance as Senior Designer with the team at Gritty Pretty, an online magazine and beauty platform. What began as short-term support for the launch of the 2020 Summer issue evolved into an ongoing role, where I designed editorial spreads for the quarterly publication whilst also developing supporting digital assets across web and social channels.

Roles: magazine design, content creation, blog/web assets, podcast promotional material

  • I previously held the role of Mid-Weight designer at this boutique Northern Beaches agency, working closely with the Creative Director and owner. Specialising in brand identity and event-led creative, we provided a wide range of services. In this position, I worked closely with clients to manage timelines and creative briefs, while leading the end-to-end delivery of all design projects.

Roles: Brand identity, web design, social media, event collateral and creative, illustration

  • I joined the business as a Junior Designer and progressed rapidly into a supervisor role, taking ownership of both creative output and team workflow. I led projects across brand identity, front-end web design, and print collateral, while overseeing quality control, project delivery, and digital strategy to ensure work was consistently aligned with both client goals and brand standards.

Roles: Creative lead, quality control, problem solver

  • This role marked my first professional position after studying, where I contributed to a broad range of creative projects across print and event design. Working closely with the wider team, I supported the development of trade show catalogues, event branding, and print collateral, gaining hands-on experience across the full production process and building a strong foundation in collaboration, attention to detail, and delivery.

Roles: gopher, catalogue design, print collateral, proofing, event creative

Education

  • Diploma of Commercial Arts
    (2012-2014)

An intense full-time program gave me all the tools to kick-start my career - training technical skills and software knowledge, then applying this learning to design briefs. There’s no better learning than experience.

  • Keen to up-skill in all areas of campaign creation, I completed the AFTRS Camera & Sound Fundamentals short course in 2025.

This course was a hands-on intensive teaching essential technical skills for shooting high-quality video, covering camera setup, tripod use, framing, lighting and professional audio recording (radio/boom mics) with minimal crew.

These skills have quickly been utilised in real world campaigns (SPF Range Campaign, Clarifying Face Hero Video Shoot, Makeup Campaign Routines)

  • Another short course to add to the repertoire, IIFP specialises in mastering advanced camera handling and settings for creative shooting in both indoor and outdoor environments. This course also touched on the fundamentals of studio lighting, which has proven to be incredibly beneficial managing output on set.

  • Introduction to HTML and CSS
    (2015)

After working at a digital agency for a year, I wanted to have a more in-depth idea of web development - something that my design degree brushed over quite quickly. I’m a big advocate for continued learning and studying code via correspondence with a mentor in San Fransisco was incredibly valuable.

  • Ancient History
    (2011-2012)

After completing school with a 90+ ATAR, I had a decision to make history or art. After a year at Macquarie studying Ancient History, the limited potential job opportunities made me re-evaluate my plan. And the rest is history ...
