ALWAYS ON + REVIEW ADS
The Bed Threads photography style is key to the brand DNA, and the following Always On ads have been created to hero these product shots and maintain the Bed Threads aesthetic. I’ve designed motion-first - Meta prioritises video assets and the CTR on motion can be up to 35% higher than static imagery. The Bed Threads simple GIF animation is also a recognisable and successful treatment, so I’ve utilised this style, again, to reinforce BAU execution.
1/ BAU Ad — Promoting Linen Bedding:
These assets hero the imagery, with subdued minimalist text overlays. Linen is classic, and the texture stands alone without the need of excessive over-designed elements. These ads aren’t shouty - they’re timeless and restrained.
The static asset features multiple colour options in one frame, whereas motion has the benefit of displaying numerous variations in a simple GIF animation style.

2/ BAU Ad — Promoting Cotton Bedding:
The cotton BAU ads lean into a bolder grid style, differentiating these assets from linen, and highlighting the crisp, colourful nature of the cotton range. The type treatment is more dynamic yet still sitting comfortably within the Bed Threads classic style, and the animation adds a playful, contemporary element.

3/ Customer Review Ad (Conceptual)
This customer review concept incorporates a classic Bed Threads overhead photographic style with clear text overlay (framed in a keyline as a subtle nod to the Bed Threads hero logo). A hand glides in to smooth the neatly styled bedding.
This relatable and tactile execution emphasis the relief felt in the review (‘fiiinally!’), and creates that very recognisable and visceral feeling of new luxurious bedding.
